Webmaster level: AllEarlier this year we announced a limited pilot for Search Engine Optimization reports in Google Analytics, based on Search queries data from Webmaster Tools. Thanks to valuable feedback from our pilot users, we’ve made several improvements and are pleased to announce that the following reports are now publicly available in the Traffic Sources section of Google Analytics.
- Queries: impressions, clicks, position, and CTR info for the top 1,000 daily queries
- Landing Pages: impressions, clicks, position, and CTR info for the top 1,000 daily landing pages
- Geographical Summary: impressions, clicks, and CTR by country

To enable these Search Engine Optimization reports for a web property, you must be both a Webmaster Tools verified site owner and a Google Analytics administrator of that Property. Once enabled, administrators can choose which profiles can see these reports.
If you have feedback or suggestions, please let us know in the Webmaster Help Forum.

I noticed this last week and tweeted about it. I thought how am I the only one to see this?
Great news! I use webmaster tools every day and the link with GA will improve stat analysis. Time to check how it works :)
This is great. It'll be helpful to be able to more easily compare CTR data with actual visits. Will WMT and GA eventually merge completely?
Assuming you are an admin of both analytics and webmaster tools what are the steps to actually enable this new feature?
Why is data set different: 1,000 daily queries in GA and more in GWT?
It makes it hard using that implementation for big sites.
I can't getting it. How can I use it? I have both account. Google webmaster tools and Google Analytics. But, not able to see that click data on my Google analytics. Can you help me more to know more about it?
This is really a Great change in GA, It would be more beatifically and easier to Analysis the website report.
@bluetahoe99: Goto the settings of the profile you want to connect in GA. Then click on "Web Property Settings", and you'll find the option at the bottom.
I would assume that you'll need the newer version of GA to be enabled.
Weird thing is that I just posted about this update last week on my blog saviolp.com (PT-BR).
Hi Christina,
Will the numbers for impressions & clicks be more detailed/accurate now that they'll be tied into GA? Or are the exact same rounded numbers from GWT being used?
It would sure be nice of position was changed to the top position, not an average of all links. Un-Google like in that it is not a useful metric. The only thing that matters is the highest rank.
I just notice that i have diferent data in Analytics & Webmaster in the same period of time. Anyone knows why? Could be the number of maximum queries? Something else? Thanks!
When your logged in to Google Analytics, look at the top right under the green bar for a "New Version" button... Go to Traffic Sources, go to Search Engine Optimization to see the new stats and to get instructions to set up your account. Pretty cool interface!!
I have different user accounts for GA & GWT.
Can I have any idea how can I integrate both different accounts?
Waiting for response.
Thanks
Stephen Oliver
I don't think some of the stats from Webmaster tools search queries are very accurate to be honest.
Doesn't work for me, I get the confirmation screen even after "successful linking".
Also, is it possible to combine Classic analytics data with the new SEO data via custom reports? (I can't check it because of this bug)
uhhh am I flippin retard? I haven't seen this at all
great news for all webmasters and it will help more in analysis of the sites
great news for webmasters
Great news BUT it would be so helpful if e.g. the landing pages report respected the filters set in a profile. I have profiles for various subgroups of content, but can't look at Webmaster Tools data for *just* landing pages that fall within that subset - data across the whole site is used regardless of profile.
What is with google putting malware messages on your site?
Nice share... :)
this should be available long, long time ago!
