Webmaster level: AllIf you use Google Analytics to track site data, you can now link your Webmaster Tools verified site to an Analytics profile when they use the same Google Account.
Not only will your Analytics profiles be accessible within Webmaster Tools, but you'll also be able to more easily access a few Google Analytics features:
- View your Google Analytics Referring Pages report directly from the Links to your site page in Webmaster Tools. This report helps you understand the overall trends in traffic volume from referrals, as well as the sites driving those trends.
- Access the Google Analytics Dashboard directly from the Analytics link in the top left bar when you’re on a site-related page.
To link a verified site in Webmaster Tools to a Google Analytics profile:
- On the Webmaster Tools home page, click Manage next to the site you want, then click Google Analytics profile.
- Select the profile you want to associate with the site, then click Save.

Hi. I would also like to see Bounce Rate on the Webmaster "Search Queries" page.
would it shows all the information in Webmaster??? we won't need to login into analytics???
It fails with every site registered "Hm. Something isn't right. We're checking into it now."
This is one more good updates from Google. Now more analytic will accessible right from webmaster tool It will be easy to analyze website performance.
Sounds good!
Maybe something went wrong with your new feature... now many of my websites got new GWT snippets and I have to replace the old header meta tags.. that's very uncool ):
Well. Welcome to the update from Google Masters. Appreciations and thanks for their continued Innovation. Thanking again and with Best Wishes.
I had a feeling that there was going to be some shared data between GA and GWT. I first noticed the change 4 days ago when I did a blog post about Google Webmaster Tools allowing you to link to Google Analytics accounts.
I am glad to see these tools develop, I just wish we could have one single dashboard for all webmaster needs(GWT,Analytics,Keyword Research,Google Checkout,Google Places,PPC, etc.). One day!
I'm glad all that confusion was eliminated!
Why does does it only report the last 5 weeks? Is there any chance we can get a longer range of data?
Why, when I log into Webmaster Tools, does it want me to add the non www version of all my websites to my account? The message says that I am also the verified owner of the non www version of the sites that I already have added?
Both sites it's doing this for have the preference/default set to www both in Webmaster Tools and my .htaccess file.
Any help please?
@Caleb it might be because Google's recognized that you own that domain, whether it be the www or non-www version. It's always good to verify within GWT and configure a preferred URL for the sake of canonicalization (avoid duplicate content).
@Google will you guys be feeding any data (e.g. impressions) from GWT into GA? I think that would be an added benefit when running reports in GA, to have impression data along with visits, bounce rate, etc.
Would be very beneficial and efficient is Google GA could suck in Google GWT data; such as the various Site Errors, which can be more easily and consistently exported in existing and well established report formats.
Phil, you are sooo right.
+1
I have access to thousands of profiles under my Google Account. The linking page only displays the first 872 rows of my profiles... and the page just ends at the last row. No "Link profile" submit button below the table.
@jacksonlo We're definitely open to additional ways to give you even more useful data for your site...thanks for the feedback.
@Mike You should post your issue in the Webmaster Help Forum with a bit more detail so we can take a closer look.

Any chance to find out why page load time for all my sites stopped updating Jan 26th? Will it turned back to be regularly updated?
Now it is very convenient for webmasters. I will keep pace with Google LOL

I've different account for my site on GA and Google Webmaster tools. How can I link both of them ?
While connecting those 2 tools makes a lot of sense, I really do not understand that in Google Analytics it is not (without altering the standard code) possible to see search keywords for image searches...
Google Webmaster Tools shows these in "Search Queries", then chose from drop down "images"...
So the GWMT assumes image searches to be regular "queries", while GA does not...
Waaay back when I set up a Google Account that I never like the name for and was able to finally create a new one that I've used ever since (for my Gmail and GWT), but my AdSense is still under the original account; will I ever be able to merge them b/c I still dread having to change all those page snippets and losing that history - unless you can explain an easier way... TIA.
This is really good, webmasters can now analysis traffic on low level without going into depth of analytics.
