We thought it might be fun and educational to create a quiz for webmasters about issues we commonly see in the Webmaster Help Forum. Together with our awesome Bionic Posters, we've tried to come up with questions and answers that reflect recurring concerns in the forum and some information that may not be well known. Some things to keep in mind when taking this quiz:
- The quiz will be available to take from today until Wednesday, January 27 at 5PM PST.
- It doesn't cover all facets of webmaster problems that arise, and—as with any test—it is at best only a fun way to test your webmaster prowess ;). We leave discussion of specific cases to the forum.
- We've set up the quiz using our very own Google Docs. This means you won't see results right away, but we plan to write a follow-up blog post explaining answers and listing top scorers. Be sure to save your answers or print out your completed quiz before submitting! This way you can check your answers against the correct ones when we publish them.
- It's just for fun!

For question 27: "Google guarantees indexing for the following types of sites" the answer was d: "Any site containing LOLcat images", right?
Kidding aside seems like a great way help people learn how to do things correctly. I see way to many sites today that still break many of these guidelines.

Last week we upgraded our website (http://www.locopoc.com) and as a solution to compensate the differences between old and new URLs we used a LINK tag with rel="canonical" attribute at the header of our pages.
Unfortunately, because of a programming mistake in the software cache, the value of this tag were not put correctly in some important pages such as the home page of the website. We've noticed the flaw and corrected it today. The problem is that our page rank in Google was decreased from 4 to 0, and we guessed that the cause was the wrong LINK tags.
Now we are wondering whether the problem was only that, and whether Google would restore the old rank to our pages?

unfortunately I missed out the test. Any how I got questions and answers. But not the complete Given options for the questions. few answers are very general like All, any of the above, all of the above. if it present with options it will be helpful to the learners.
Where are the answers to the quiz? looks like the quiz itself has been turned off before i got a chance to check back for the answers. I guess that means I got 100% then!
