We recently posted about some of the engaging gadgets you can add to your site with Google Friend Connect. Here's one more that may be of interest if you're looking for another way to get feedback from your site's visitors:
The new Recommendation gadgets make it easy for your visitors to let you and the world know which parts of your site they like best. By placing recommendation buttons next to photos, articles or other content, visitors can recommend specific items to others with the click of a button. Your most popular items will surface to the top of the recommendation list.
To install a recommendation gadget on your site, or to check out the other gadgets that are available, please visit www.google.com/friendconnect.

I think after one by one useful functions added in Google friend connect , It will become advance tool with personal contact with readers and other publishers . I have follow many blogs and When I saw my dashboard , the latest find bellow it . Is there any facility to read my recommended article read again by me in my blog dashboard .
Just tried Friendconnect. The canvas.html file contains a variable: Site Name. Would it be better if this was automatically generated from the information given in step 1 of the set up?

I tried to add Recommendation Gadget several times on my blog http://www.knowliz.com but somehow it doesn't appear there.
As a matter of fact, it did appear for the first time, but now it doesn't. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
Any help would be appreciated.
Suggestion (On a different topic):
Do you guys plan on incorporating FriendConnect into Blogger native commenting system. That would make life a lot easier than adding these modules separately. Even today, it doesn't seem to provide much use of Google Friend Connect on blogs besides adding these gadgets.
Thanks

@knowliz
It would be nice to have a generally more in depth tutorial, for use of this gadget in blogger. This feature is ideal for my needs, but i continue have using it with multiple posts on a page
Happy to find the Google Webmaster program, hope it will give my blogs more comments to improve.
I really need help. Google's crawlers keep finding "Not Found" errors. These are pages that don't even exist anymore, and they haven't existed for months. So I have nearly 1000 errors, and my site no longer shows up in Google's top pages. There is no support page, and the FAQ do not help me. Could you please email me back, I really need some help to figure out how to stop Google from making my site look like it has a ton of errors.
Forgot to mention. My websites email address is lovingfromadistance@hotmail.com. Website is www.lovingfromadistance.com
@ michelle. You need a SEO specialist. Probably somewhere on your websites, links are still active that send spiders to the pages that do not exist anymore.
Did you try removing through your Google Webmaster account?
Can you block the pages trough your robot.txt file?
Can you redirect (301) the pages?
I scanned your site with Xenu Link Sleuth spider. I only get 1 error, the Javascript at: http://www.lovingfromadistance.com/unitpngfix.js
Wow
Thanks for getting back to me. I emailed you with more information.
I think this is a great idea. Helps get feedback for your content. Should help increase links from keywords to content ratio and see if visitors like what they read or not. Great.
