It's the first time I'm questioned about Google Webmaster.
It's nice to be able to give my opinion on a service I use every day.
Good job THE team :)

How can a Google warning message state that all of my webpages on all of my websites (8) are suddenly being redirected to a different url? And who is (webmaster_14067@wmt.secureserver.net) at the top of my Google webmaster screen? JP.

Hello! I recently got my webpage indexed in Google. I know the google bot passed it and indexed it due I see the searches of my company in a small list under the Title. Problem is that the same day I got it listed I changed the URL of a very important part of my website. How can I make Googlebot to pass and redo my listing? thank you! :)

I don't think this service is friendly enough. I don't understand it and nothing I do is helping my site. I asked for reconsideration to index my pages. I wasn't sure what was the problem and I still don't. I'm almost going out of business and can't get any real help in here. Not even one single keyword is listed in the organic search knowing that my site is up for nearly 11 years now. Oh well.

With the advent of the canonical tag all the worries about duplicate urls vanish in thin air. To denote the web pages as duplicates but also to secure the search engine metrics associated with the URLs the only weapons search marketers had before this invention was 301 redirect.

Now search marketers have a very simple way of labeling duplicate urls and also to pass on the valuable search engine metrics to the preferred URL.

Thank you Google!

The absolutely most important thing we'd want from Google Webmaster Tools is guest accounts - that is, accounts that can be set up where you can only see things, but can't make any changes (e.g. preferred domain, enhanced image search opt-in, etc).

This is really important for SEO companies which work with clients rather than in-house ones.

Hey Google Webmaster Central,
My name is Timon, I have an interesting issue with duplicate meta tags that I have fixed. It happened when I changed templates on occultblogger.com to another template that had the same meta tags on all pages. Even though I have fixed this, the google bot keeps saying it is still duplicate meta tags in webmaster central and these pages of error are in the supplementary index because of this..

I am just wondering how do I fix this or how do I let the robot know I have fixed this..?

Kind Regards
Timon

Hey! Who do I point out an easy bug to?

Your webmastertools warns me that all the entries in my sitemap.xml have the same priority. It also confirms that there's only 1 (one) entry! Some low-hanging fruit for your trainee devs maybe...

I have been unable to get any assistance with our non-profit partner YouTube account. I haven't been able to upload since December, the API doesn't recognize a log in since last year, our channel has been customized and no help forum topic addresses the issue. We are within all the requirements for video media as we have professional editing software and are hostage for our Brain Tumor Organization and state cancer alliance because as NPOs we want to use YouTube to promote and benefit our cause; also I have requested multiple times specific support with creating a search engine within our site that will run on Google API ALSO to benefit our cause. I have faxed the office, I have called, I understand no direct support is available but this makes absolutely no sense. Sometimes there is a certificate issue that is thrown when trying to login or out of YouTube. It is beyond our level to fix this and need assistance immediately before April because May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month and Conduit (Google ) partner is launching a campaign for us globally promoting our toolbar.HELP!
