Webmasters come from all corners of the world and we are working hard to reach each and everyone of you. A few months back we introduced you to Googlers who help monitor our Webmaster Help Groups in fifteen languages. Since then, that number has grown to sixteen with the addition of the Chinese Help Group. Today, we're happy to announce that Webmaster Tools is now available in four more languages:
  • Arabic
  • Hebrew
  • Hindi
  • Thai
Webmaster Tools is already available in 22 other languages: British English, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Swedish, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, and US English.

We're thrilled to be engaging with such a diverse community of webmasters. Thank you again for your feedback and support!

I will be really grateful if you can include Indonesian language. With a population of more than 200 mil people and low english literacy, it will be a great push for the development of the Indonesian internet community.

It would be great if you can include Serbian language also.

Outstanding Googlers - I love to work with you together.

Maybe a silly question, but you never know :o)

The language preference of the webmaster tool doesn’t influence on the geo-targeting of the site, does it?

Regards

It would be great if we could get more tools in Esperanto. That's really the only global language. It's going to catch on any day now.

Or Klingon.

@Salomon:
No, the language in which you use Webmaster Tools doesn't affect any of your site's settings.

Are you thinking of adding Greek to the list of supported languages?
Thanks

sorry to post here, but I haven't found a quick link to submit a problem.

not sure if it's just with my account, but I noticed recently that the Indexed URLs figure in the Tools>Sitemap panel is stuck to the same number for several days, while it used to be updated as soon as the Sitemap was picked up by the bot. The submitted URLs are updated fine...

I would like to know how to ask Google a general question. Where do I do this?

Susan Moskwa said...

Kelly--
First figure out which Google product or service your question relates to (web search, AdWords, Blogger, etc.). Then go to Google's Help Center and select that product. In most cases you'll see a link to that product's Discussion Group on the front page of that product's Help Center; that's the best place to ask questions.
