Join us for an online live chat this Friday!

Monday, March 24, 2008 at 6:50 PM

Many of us Webmaster Help Group guides have happily gotten to meet Group members at various functions around the world. Over sandwiches in San Jose. Salads in Stockholm. Sweets in Sydney. And it's been super!

But some of you are hard to find and so we haven't had the pleasure of chatting with you. Therefore, we've decided to visit you right through your beloved monitor screen.

On Friday, March 28 at 9am PDT / noon EDT / 16:00 GMT, we'll be having our first-ever all-group live chat, where you'll have a chance to hear and see us answer some of your most pressing questions. All that's required is a phone (we'll pay for the call), a sufficiently-modern web browser, and an internet connection.

We'll be posting a "sticky note" with more details in the Random Chitchat section of the Group a day or two before this online meetup, and we're looking forward to chatting with you soon!

Talkatively yours,
Adam and the English Webmaster Help Guides

Woot! Woot! Yay Googlechat.

(sorry, that's all I have to say about that)

Hi! I don't know if this is the right place, but it is the only way in to Blogger-people I can find.

1.) I think it could be very funny if we could make some sort of a hard-copy book of our own blog, from year to year.

2.) I need sometimes a search-machine, to find a word ind the overall blog of mine.

I will say, I love my blog, and use it every day.

Best regard

We recently developed a scrolling ticker that uses Blogger's JSON feeds as the news titles in the ticker. (see www.wonderticker.com for more info). Would it possible to discuss this project and other similar projects in this Google/Blogger Development chat?

Were the complaints on Cutts' blog the reason this idea came into fruition?

Wow... really great idea, you can count me in for sure! : )

While I have a phone connection, what is the chance I can use GoogleTalk instead of my phone? I would prefer to have everything on my computer.

Especially when I travel from country to country. Thanks.

Hi folks:

This is a Webmaster Central-focused chat, so we won't be discussing issues specific to Blogger. For help with Blogger, I recommend going to their Help Group. (Søren, you know there's already a search feature in Blogger, right?)

Ryan, in order to hear the audio portion of the chat, you'll need to be able to call in to our phone number (or give us a number we can call you at). You can use any online telephone service that has one of these capabilities.

Thanks for the response Susan. I will be in Costa Rica on Friday, so I will probably call in using SKYPE, since it is what I am using regularly.

See you then!

My company is very interested in getting in on this chat, but we can't figure out how to "call" in.... Is there a phone number? Can someone please explain before Friday's chat where exactly we are supposed to go and what exactly we are supposed to do to be able to get in on this? Thanks to all who reply.

hey there. I'm kinda new to these issues and I have an question needing urgent answers.

don't know if this is the right place, but...

I have a blog. I published a poem on it. I removed it since I realized I don't want it published on my blog before I post it into some poetry contests. Problem is, it's still there. I used webmaster tools to remove the cached page. It says it's removed, but when I google the first 2 lines of my poem: voila - my site and some 5 lines from my poem are quite visible. really would appreciate some help.

sorry if spam

Hi Simona,
If you have questions unrelated to our blog post, you can post them in our Help Group. You should check out this post in particular because it may answer your question (make sure you've requested removal of the correct URL).
