As part of our efforts to protect users, we have been warning people using Google search before they visit sites that have been determined to distribute badware under the guidelines published by StopBadware. Warning users is only part of the solution, though; the real win comes from helping webmasters protect their own users by alerting them when their sites have been flagged for badware -- and working with them to remove the threats.
It's my pleasure to introduce badware alerts in Google webmaster tools. You can see on the Diagnostic Summary tab if your site has been determined to distribute badware and can access information to help you correct this.
If your site has been flagged and you believe you've since removed the threats, go to http://stopbadware.org/home/review to request a review. If that's successful, your site will no longer be flagged -- and your users will be safer as a result of your diligence.
This version is only the beginning: we plan to continue to provide more data to help webmasters diagnose issues on their sites. We realize that in many cases, badware distribution is unintentional and the result of being hacked or running ads which lead directly to pages with browser exploits. Stay tuned for improvements to this feature and others on webmaster tools.
Update: this post has been updated to provide a link to the new form for requesting a review.
Update: More information is available in our Help Center article on malware and hacked sites.

If we could be told what pages are the problem, that would be a good help.
I would get rid of bad pages ASAP.
My host also had a virus last summer... That too may be why I got on the list.
Google needs to recheck the bad sites with the same fervor as it reports and flags them.
You could accidentally to damage to a large company where people loose jobs - or hurt the little guy with a family.
My site was flagged as being harmful, yet I see no Badware Alerts in Webmaster Tools. There is no indication as to what or where the problem is.
Google just begin to going too far to control the internet informations. They don't have the right to decide what is good or not but let people do. In the futur they will control the information just to gain economic advantage, it's just the begining.
Hi
I asked them to review www.iranweb.biz 3 times , but no answer from their site, I am loosing my site traffic without having any problem on my site.
I have searched via the keyword in Google,"site:www.fx120.net/JBZT/",
and found many many pages with the warnings!
But,when i searched to locate my website in the Badware Website
Clearinghouse via the URL such as "www.fx120.net" or
"www.fx120.net/JBZT/" or "fx120.net/JBZT",it said there are 0
results,always.
I am puzzled, and how can i send a request for review for the subdomain?

That is a crock. My site was flagged several weeks ago and I fixed it the first day. It is still flagged and I have danced through every hoop put up by Google. Google is becoming a farce. They do not practice what they preach. I am disgusted.
keygolf
obviously politically motivated: i've seen this only on the American Spectator's link. can you produce a single left wing example of "badware", google?
In Google Webmaster Tools, summary sections don't appear, what happen???
